Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Flower Pendant
Edwardian sapphire and diamond pendant mounted in platinum. English. Circa 1905.
The central flower motif, probably a Primrose set with three traingular sapphires and a traingular diamond as the petals, ending in an intertwinned stem with a diamond in the end above a platinum loop. The Primrose is a very English flower and was a symbol of womanhood.
