Talks Programme

Spring 2019 Talks Programme

Art & Antiques for Everyone are delighted to present a series of exciting and informative daily talks from BBC's Antiques Roadshow celebrity Will Farmer and Roger Smith from the spring feature exhibition 'Colouring Victorian Life' from The New Baxter Society.

Will Farmer

Will’s passion for antiques began at the age of 4 months old when he went to his first auction. By the age of 12, he had his own stall at a local fair. Today he is a dealer, writer and BBC Antiques Roadshow expert in Ceramics, Glass and Decorative Arts.  You can follow Will on Twitter.

Roger Smith

Roger Smith is the former Chairman of The New Baxter Society and co-author of Pictorial Catalogues of Joseph Mansell’s and Bradshaw & Blacklock’s Baxter Process prints. Roger will be delivering a series of talks exploring the development of George Baxter’s patented process and how his prints added colour to Victorian life. Find out more about the spring feature exhibition here.
