Honeysuckle Tiara - perfect facsimile in simulated diamonds
The Honeysuckle tiara, smaller of the two diamond tiaras owned by the Duchesses of Devonshire at Chatsworth House. This copy was produced at *C W Sellor's workshop in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, for the recent House Style: Five Centuries of Fashion at Chatsworth exhibition. The original was worn by Duchess Deborah to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. It also graced the heads of Duchess Amanda, the current Duchess, and Lady Celina for their weddings in 1967 and 1995 respectively. The headdress can be dismantled into separate brooches - typical of the era the original was produced. (*C W Sellors owns W Hamond - The Original Whitby Jet Shop).
