Jacqui Murfitt from Scottish & Scandinavian Designs has unearthed a real Scandinavian treasure.
“In the antique trade you often hear items referred to as rare, unique and other such superlatives, however, at Scottish and Scandinavian Designs we really think we have sourced a rare bracelet from none other than Georg Jensen!
Having searched the internet for a number of weeks we can only find one other for sale and that by none other than Drucker Antiques; a recognised authority on Georg Jensen .
This silver bracelet was designed by Jorgen Jensen – Jensen’s younger son, in 1952 and is one of a very few designs to be adopted by the mainstream Jensen catalogue under #105. This example has London import marks for 1959 – so one of the first in production, and is available from Scottish and Scandinavian Designs Stand F39, at Art and Antiques for Everyone’s Winter Edition 2022.”
