  1. What do you deal in?

Rare, antiquarian and collctable books and other works on paper. I stock books from the 16th to the 21st centurie on most subjects, including travel, economics, arts and  history, but at same time I allways have a good selection of literary first editions and childrens and illustrated books from the 19th and 20th centuries. Fine leather bound books are also a speciality.

  2. When did you start dealing?

This is my 25th year dealing as I started in 1990.

  3. Best buy?

A fine set of first editions of Captain Cook's 3 Voyages, published between 1773 and 1784, complete with the large atlas of maps and plates. The whole 9 volume set was in lovely clean condition throughout and was bound in fine 18th century full calf leather bindings.

  4. Top Tip for new collectors?

I advise new collectors to buy the best books that they can afford. Many collectors who don't do this often find that they end up replacing early purchases with better copies when the collection starts to grow.

  5. Why do you choose to exhibit at fairs?

It is a great way to meet new collectors. I exhibit at many Antiquarian Bookfairs in England and across the U. S. A and Canada, but this is my first Antiques fair and I am excited and optimistic about the whole event.
