In this talk interior designer and BIID member Lester Bennett will be exploring the question ‘Are antiques relevant in today’s interiors?’ He will discuss the relevance of using antiques in contemporary interior design schemes and exploring how carefully chosen antiques pieces can be both inspirational as well as functional in a modern home.

About Lester Bennett

Lester is an independent interior designer and consultant, with over 35 years experience. Previously a founding partner of Folio Design LLP, Lester has covered many areas of design from running his own practice to being Design Director for the residential development company Westcity, helping to create several large scale, prestigious award winning schemes in London. He has built up a stunning portfolio of high profile residential developments both in the UK and overseas.

Lester has lectured extensively, including Moscow, and can cover subjects from the impact of classical architecture on joinery design, to the history of the drum kit, his particular passion. Lester is a member of the BIID.
