WINTER 2019 Talks Programme
Art & Antiques for Everyone were delighted to present a series of exciting and informative daily talks from BBC’s Antiques Roadshow celebrities Judith Miller and Mark Hill during our winter fair. Keep an eye on this page to find out what’s planned for Spring.
Judith began collecting antiques in the 1960s and co-founded the 1979 international bestseller Miller's Antiques Priceguide. Since then Judith has written over 100 books as well as lecturing and appearing regularly on television in both the UK and United States. Judith joined the BBC Antiques Roadshow in 2007.
Mark Hill was a specialist in the collectors departments at Bonhams and Sotheby’s in London before joining an internet company where he became a director, forming and running its ground-breaking alliance with eBayLive Auctions. He is now an author, publisher, TV presenter, and a leading dealer in postwar Czech and 20th century decorative glass.
Richard Price was a horological consultant to Bonhams, the London auctioneers, from 1975 until 1992, where he was responsible for valuing and cataloguing their clocks and watches. He left the saleroom in 1992 to concentrate on his own horological business, which includes exhibiting at major antiques fairs and lecturing at horological seminars.
Talks will take place at the rear of the hall.
