A selection of over 100 pieces of world renowned Derby porcelain will be on display at the Antiques for Everyone Winter Fair 2017 at the NEC, Birmingham on 23-26 November.
Derby Porcelain: Artistry from the 18th century to the present day
The Derby Porcelain Society will be presenting this Winters feature exhibition as they display examples of all three Derby porcelain factories, spanning from the mid 18th century to the present day. Many of these pieces originate from a selectiono of private collections and will be on display for the first time.
Alongside this unique and one of a kind feature, visitors will be able to take away a piece of this equisite feature with a full colour catalogue provding in-depth information of every piece on display at this antiques fair. The catalogue makes for great reference work for the future and an important tool for all porcelain enthusiastis.
About The Derby Porcelain Society
The Derby Porcelain Society was founded when a group of enthusiasts organised a public meeting at Derby City Museum and Art Gallery on 1st September 1984. A Steering Committee was set up and the Society held its Inaugural General Meeting at the Victoria and Albert Museum on 9th March 1985.
Now in its 33rd year, the Society remains both vibrant and active in its pursuit of the aims of our founding fathers, whilst also moving forward and embracing the benefits that modern technology offers us.
